Directions for the Craft:

  1. Gently fold the “door” page horizontally through the middle of a row of doors. Cut the side of the door along the black line.

2. Unfold the page. Insert your scissors into the side cut and carefully cut the top and bottom of each door. Repeat for all ten doors.

3. Use the glue to smear lines between the pictures on the top of the picture page, making sure to smear glue on the outer edges of the paper as well. Do not smear glue over the pictures. Alternatively, you could use double sided tape for this step.

  6. Dear Anna Joy,

May God bless you abundantly for providing this free and easy to print template. Your craft is the best quick craft for our 1st-5th graders at our Good News Club (taught in public schools). I spent 2 frustrating hours on other sites. In 5 minutes I was able to produce your's without having to resize, download, etc. Thank you so much!

  7. Thank you for the free printable Ten Commandments as I teach cff for our catholic church and also to my grand children and I will be using this activity, I really appreciate the availability of being able to find encouraging information for free as I am on a fixed income , but want activities that will encourage these little angels to know and love God! 10. Hi Anna,

I love your crafts and have purchased several over the past several months. I do struggle teaching the Ten Commandments to my Faith Formation students and thought this would be a good resource. I love your ideas, but, I need a Catholic version of this craft. The commandments are out of our Catholic order and the verbiage is different. You usually offer your craft in different versions. Thank you.

    1. Marilyn, thank you so much for contacting me! The Ten Commandments crafts are unfortunately only available in the Protestant version. This is one of the few times (along with the books of the Old Testament) where the resources are going to differ. I appreciate you. May God bless you! – Anna Joy

  11. Thank you. My goal for this summer is that my grandchildren would memorize the ten commandments. This is a wonderful addition to our activities!

  12. Thank you for this activity being printable. The Faith Builders (8-10) will love it!!! God Bless you
Thank you for having it read how the Bible reads.

  13. Re: 10 commandments craft.

I really like this idea, but I would love to change some of the language to make it more kid friendly, like they do in Godly Play.

    Especially:
    1. Don’t serve other gods.
    3. Be serious when you say God's name.
    5. Honour your mother and father. (NZ English spelling of 'honour')
    7. Don’t break your marriage.
    9. Don’t lie.
    10. Don’t want what others have.

Is there any chance you could give me permission to make these changes for my class?

  14. This craft and learning activity was amazing! The kids loved it, (age range 4-7). They enjoyed coloring and asking questions. They were engaged and proud of their creative learning experience. I precut the top page to save time during the learning session, It worked out well for the age group. Your instructions and ideas were right on target. Thank you for the inspiration. May you continue to be blessed in your ministry bringing edification and glory to God.

  15. If you love me, keep my commandments John 14:15

Great resource to learn and or review of the 10 commandments with an easy to understand level for all ages

  16. God bless you. Thank you, Anna Joy. I downloaded the peek-a-boo 10 commandments. I would like to receive updates and information about your ministry and site. Thank you

  17. When I try to save this craft I have no option to print, it says view-only format. Has something changed that it is not free to download and print after all?

    1. Angelina, thanks for asking! When you click the link, you will see “open with Google Docs” in the center. DO NOT click that. Instead, click the print or download icons on the far right at the top of the screen. It should work great, then. May God bless you! – Anna Joy

  21. Hi Anna,

I have been looking around for simple resources and craft we can use in our Sunday school lessons and then I came across your website. All I can say is may the Good Lord bless you for the good work you do. I love every single one of them and cannot wait to use them. Tomorrow we will be doing the 10 commandments so it is nice that you have that here as well, unfortunately being that we have 30 children, we may not be able to get everything ready for the craft session but we will definitely be using it next week most likely. Thank you thank you thank you.

Your practical activities are a great help! Thank you for making this available. God bless. Jo
