Are you looking for a fun Valentine’s Day craft that will remind your children or your students of God’s love? Are you looking for a Valentine’s craft that is appealing to both boys and girls? Do you need a simple project for home or class room use?

If so, this Valentine’s Day Finger Puzzle is exactly what you are looking for!

This Valentine’s Day Finger Puzzle is fun to make and a great way to remind your kids of God’s love. Plus, the illustrations make these finger puzzles appealing to both boys and girls.

In spite of my fiasco with my Sunday School class insisting that these finger puzzles were “Cootie Catchers” at Christmas, they had so much fun with these little origami creations that I decided to make a Valentine’s Day version as well. (Besides which, they are finally figuring out how to fold them! While some of my third and fourth graders are folding geniuses, others struggle with folding paper almost as much as I do!)

These finger puzzles feature words to spell on the outside, numbered pictures on the next layer, Bible-related questions about love to answer, and Bible verses about God’s love for us and true love for each other on the inside. The puzzles are available in CSB, ESV, KJV, NASB, NIV, and NKJV Bible versions.

To play, have your child insert their thumb and index finger from each hand into the flaps in the back. Open and close the finger puzzle in different directions as you spell one of the words from the outer layer. Then, pick a picture from the inside. Open and close the finger puzzle the number of times indicated on the picture you chose. Choose one more image. Open that flap and choose a number from one to four. Read the verse or question from the chosen number.
