By Anna Joy

May 29, 2017

I always find it difficult to find ways to help both my own kids and my Sunday School students celebrate Father’s Day.  It seems like there are tons of great ideas for Mother’s Day, but not as much for Father’s Day.

So this year I got to work and designed this printable Father’s Day Mini Book.

Help your kids celebrate Father's Day with this adorable and super-easy-to-make printable father's day card - perfect for home or classroom use!

These little cards are made up of a one page printable (super easy which is what you need!) and are lots of fun to make. All you have to do is show your kids how to cut, fold, and fill in the blanks to create a memorable card that dads are sure to appreciate.

You don’t even need tape, glue, or staples – just the printable, scissors, and something to write with. That’s it!

This little book includes six writing prompts (“You always laughs when…”, “You teach me how to…”) and four Bible verses chosen just for fathers. The book is available in black and white (for kids to color themselves) or full color. It can also be downloaded in six different Bible versions: Christian Standard Bible, English Standard Version, King James Version, New American Standard Bible, New International Version, and New King James Version. There is also a version especially designed for Grandfathers and a generic version for kids who might not be with their dads on this Father’s Day.

  7. Thank you so much! My 4 year old daughter jumps at the chance to “make books” like this. We love little emergent readers she can color and assemble and put together, so this is perfect. I posted something else by you on my Facebook feed the other day, and one of my friends commented that they either went to church with you or used to. I can’t remember who it was now. But, what a small world! Thanks for all your posts and creativity! God is using you!

  8. Thank you, Anna! I have recently unsubscribed to many companies lately-In an effort to lose some good things and gain more time for great things, but Path Through The Narrow Gate is one of the best things out there!! Thank you for all the work you put in! May God bless you and your family! I really, really appreciate that you make your printable in different versions. Thank you, Anna!

  9. In New Zealand our Father’s Day is on 1st Sunday in September. We will definitely be creating these. May use your folding technique with stamps for Mini Christmas Cards to hang on Christmas tree as decorations. Each child could prepare an Advent card. So many uses. Thank you.

    1. You are welcome! I am so excited that you can use them. I want you to know that I even looked up how you say “Dad” in New Zealand, and England, and Australia. Apparently everyone uses “Dad”?
